NAIROBI - TSAVO

Nairobi We start early for our Kenya safari tour via Nairobi – Mombasa highway.There shall be a pit stop for breakfast and refreshments along the safari route.

Tsavo National Park East Tsavo East National Park is considered to be one of the oldest and largest National Park in Kenya which is spread across 13,747 sq. km. It is said to be one of the world’s largest biodiversity stronghold. The National Park take cares of the famous “big five” that includes Masai lion, Black rhino, Cape buffalo, Elephant and Leopard. It is also home to Aardwolf, Yellow baboon, Bat, Cape buffalo, Bushbaby, Bushbuck, Caracal, African wildcat, Tanzanian cheetah, African civet, dik-dik, African elephant, Bat-eared fox and Greater galago among others.

Tsavo National Park West From the sight of fifty million gallons of crystal clear water gushing out of from the under parched lava rock that is the Mzima Springs to the Shetani lava flows, Tsavo West is a beautiful, rugged wilderness. The savannah ecosystem comprises of open grasslands, scrublands, and Acacia woodlands, belts of riverine vegetation and rocky ridges including the Poacher's Lookout where visitors can see the teeming herds in the plains below. Tsavo West offers some of the most magnificent game viewing in the world and attractions include elephant, rhino, Hippos, lions, cheetah, leopards, Buffalos, diverse plant and bird species including the threatened corncrake and near threatened Basra Reed Warbler.

Mzima Springs Mzima Springs is an oasis of green in the west of the park that produces an incredible 250 million litres of fresh water a day. The springs, whose source rises in the Chyulu Hills, provides the bulk of Mombasa’s fresh water. A walking trail leads along the shoreline. The drought in 2009 took a heavy toll on the springs’ hippo population; the population is stable at around 20 individuals. There are also crocodiles and a wide variety of birdlife.

TSAVO WEST - AMBOSELI

Amboseli National Park Crowned by Mount Kilimanjaro, Africa's highest peak, the Amboseli National Parks is one of Kenya's most popular parks. The name "Amboseli" comes from a Maasai word meaning "salty dust", and it is one of the best places in Africa to view large herds of elephants up close. Nature lovers can explore five different habitats here ranging from the dried-up bed of Lake Amboseli, wetlands with sulphur springs, the savannah and woodlands. They can also visit the local Maasai community who live around the park and experience their authentic culture.

AMBOSELI - NAIROBI

Nairobi The sunrise and emergence of the Kilimanjaro mountain peak from the clouds are dramatic “weather permitting”.We will marvel at the vistas as we enjoy our breakfast we check out from the hotel. We shall enjoy a mid-morning game drive as we depart for Nairobi. We re-join the Nairobi Mombasa highway and proceed to Nairobi.
