Jaipur, the fabled pink city of flamboyant Rajasthan, is a potpouri of colours and fairytale splendour. On this heritage walk I guide you through the lesser known gullies into a world of legendary charm, into the lore of the courtiers and courtesans. I tell you about the secret lives of the nobles, their role in the transition from the Moghul to the British empire, and the significance of the havelis and temples that we walk past. Through this walk, I take you back in time to give you a memorable experience that will leave you feeling like a part of the scene that unfolded once upon a time in Jaipur...

Hailing from Rajasthan, Deepak, through his 20 years of experience as a host to thousands of visitors to the region, has accumulated folkloric knowledge of the state and beyond from the elders he's met in his community and on his various journeys, and those who were involved in the traditional art of oral storytelling.
