Gandhi Smriti
Our English speaking tour guide will take you around the city for sightseeing, starting with Gandhi Smriti. This place was earlier Mahatma Gandhi`s House, where he spent 144 Days of his life. The Indian Independence movements were led by Mahatama Gandhi. Mahatama Gandhi holds great significance historically as well as socially. Gandhiji scarified his life for the unity of India. Our Guide will explain in details about our beloved father of the nation, Mahatama Gandhi. This house is also known as Birla House, before Birla industrialist family gifted this house to Mahatama Gandhi, it is now called Gandhi Smriti.

India Gate
Post Gandhi Smriti, we will move toward India Gate, a 138-feet tall war memorial, constructed in the memory of Indian Martyrs, in the heart of New Delhi by Duke Connaught. British famous architect Sir Edwin Lutyens laid down its foundation stone in 1931. Here you will get to see the eternal flame (Amar Jawan Jyoti). 13,000 soldiers’ names are in scripted around the structure and these soldiers fought in World War I & Anglo Afghan war.
