Itinerary
1
My Son Sanctuary
Pick up at Da Nang, and drive about 70 km to My Son Holly's land. Upon arrival, enjoy a Traditional Show of Cham artists. Then start to discover the Holy Land which was designated as a UNESCO World Heritage Site in 1999.
Narrow trails lead to each cluster of temples whose interior accommodates an outstanding world of architecture and sculpture with a cultural diversity of Indians, Indonesians and Khmers. Explore the temples which have always been puzzling scholars about their secret architecture. How could major materials – red bricks and stones, be laid upon one another and stick firmly without any mortar? This secret of the Champa era remains unexplained and therefore makes My Son become a unique mystery.
