Akumal Monkey Sanctuary & Rescued Animals
We begin our adventure with an engaging experience, learning about wildlife conservation amidst lush vegetation. A professional guide will lead us through the sanctuary, sharing insights about the animals and their rescue stories.
You'll have the unique opportunity to interact with various animal species:
Birds: Encounter parrots and macaws.
Snakes: Learn about non-venomous snakes and their role in the food chain.
Primates: Engage with Black-capped and White-faced Capuchin monkeys, or squirrel monkeys.
After these interactions, we embark on an exhilarating ATV ride through nature, leading to a magnificent 2.5 million-year-old cave with stunning stalactites, stalagmites, and columns. Inside the 50-meter-long cave, discover a breathtaking cenote with crystal-clear waters, 3 meters deep. Refresh and swim, marveling at the natural beauty illuminated by underwater lamps.
