Traditional Balinese village famous for gold, silver shops, and crafts. Almost every home in the village is home to a jeweler and often double as galleries to display their artisan-ship and abilities. Can purchase items directly from the jewelers and even have custom work done.

Puseh Batuan Temple
Batuan temple is a local Balinese Hindu temple looked after by the local resident of Batuan countryside. The temple is designed very beautiful with full of Balinese ornaments and the roof temple building is made from the fiber of chromatic black palm tree. It is strategically located beside of the main road from Denpasar to Ubud. For over a thousand years, Batuan has been a village of artists and craftsmen, old legends and mysterious tales.

Mas Carving Center
Mas is the village best known for its long tradition of woodcarving , even though the word “mas” means gold in Bahasa Indonesia. As is usual in Bali, this means that you will find a glut of workshops throughout the area, all offering similar product. It is worth visiting a woodcarving studio such as Dewa Malen to watch the craftsmen at work, practising the traditional skills that have been handed down from generation to generation.
The subject matter has evolved over the years from the very traditional characters based on ancient Hindu stories to more modern animals, some, including humans placed in somewhat compromising (and often complicated) poses. Prices are slightly inflated compared to some other sources, but the quality is good and they will package for travel.

Satria Coffee Plantation
Taste authentic Bali teas and coffees at Satria Agrowisata, located in a lush jungle setting. This plantation remains best known for offering kopi luwak or civet coffee, produced with beans previously eaten, partially digested, and then excreted by the Asian palm civet, a small tree-climbing animal. Despite--or because of--this undeniably unappealing production method, kopi luwak remains among the most expensive coffees on the planet. Take a guided walk around the jungle plantation to learn more about the unusual production process.
