Itinerary

My Son Sanctuary After being picked up at hotel around 5:00am, you will be driven to the World Heritage ‘My Son Sanctuary’ for 1 hour drive then having coffee drink (might be take- away). Your guide will show you the remains of the remarkable towers constructed by the Cham builders, many centuries ago. This sanctuary is a cluster of abandoned and partially ruined Hindu temples built between the 4th and the 14th century AD by the kings of Champa. The temples are dedicated to the worship of the god Shiva, known under various local names, the most important of which is "Bhadresvara". In 1937, French scholars began to restore the temples at Mỹ Sơn. In 1937 and 1938, the main temple and the smaller temples surrounding it were restored. However, many historical buildings were destroyed during the Vietnam War and this temple was damaged by the attacks. It takes around 2 hours for visiting the sites around then back to the hotel roughly 9-9.30am. Then you can have breakfast at hotel.
