Cusco - Abra Malaga - Santa Maria- Santa Teresa

The expedition begins at 6:00am when adventurers are picked up and driven through the beautiful Sacred Valley to Abra Malaga. Here Inca Jungle travellers will change into the equipment we provide (gloves, elbow pads, knee pads, helmets) and receive a 20 minute briefing from our guide. Then the fun and adventure begins. We begin by riding on challenging roads through different levels of ecosystems, including cloud forest and ice-covered mountains. After three hours we arrive at Huaman Marca for lunch and then a van will take you to Santa Maria where we begin our exciting journey of rafting down the sacred Vilcanota River for approximately 2 hours, after which we travel to Santa Teresa for dinner and overnight. Santa Teresa - Aguas Calientes

Hot Springs (Aguas Calientes)
Today we will wake up around 7:50 a.m., then we will go to the Adventure Park to take a zip line tour which will take approximately 2 hours. This route consists of 4 cables and a suspension bridge. After that we will continue with the local van to the town of Hidroeléctrica where we will have lunch, once our lunch is finished we will continue walking along the train tracks to the town of Aguas Calientes which will take 3 hours/10 km where will sleep and have dinner. NOTE: Optionally we can go to the hot springs (20 soles).

Machu Picchu
At 4:00 a.m. we will ahead to the Inca citadel of Machu Picchu, We have 2 option paying a $12 bus fare or hiking 1600 incan steps to reach the citadel. once we arrive to the main gate of Machu picchu we have to register in order get in, once inside the site our guide will provide 2 hours tour of the Machu picchu citadel, also will show us the most important temples, agricultural terraces and sacred plazas. same time we will be able to notice an abundance of llamas roaming around, as soon as we finished the tour we have to come back to aguas calientes in order to take a train and van back to cusco
