Rafting at the Martha brae includes a tour of the grounds by educated tour guides helping you to discover the origin of Jamaica. Raft on the calm three (3) miles river of the Martha brae. Once on the raft, guests can learn about “The Legend of Martha Brae” . The area to board raft covers six acres of beautifully manicured lawns situated on a natural horseshoe island.

Your Jungle River tubing excursion starts with a scenic drive along the North Coast to the Rio Bueno river. Upon your arrival, one of our friendly tour guides will assist you to check in and put on your safety gear. Once you’re ready to go, you follow your guide across the Irie Bridge and walk along the jungle trail, where you will learn some interesting facts about Jamaica and the many species of plants and animals found along the river.

Martha Brae River The Martha Brae Rafting tour is one of Jamaica's popular rafting tours mainly because of the legend of the Martha Brae River. Located in Falmouth, Trelawney a 30-minute drive from Montego Bay, Martha Brae River is there for you to enjoy a wonderful rafting tour to commune with nature and some exciting folklore to entertain you. Enjoy a slow, peaceful ride on a bamboo raft down the calm slow-moving river under the shades of the many huge trees on its banks which provides shades and cool gentle wind to keep you cool along the river banks. Enjoy the flora and fauna and see the rocks carved into animals and other things by the water. Listen to the many different sides of the folklore attached to this magnificent river. Please note: This is just a private transfer service to Martha Brae Rafting Village from your hotel/port. A river rafting experience must be purchased separately.

After about 7 minutes of easy walking, you ultimately arrive at the river launch point. After one last safety check, it’s time to get into your tube and start your amazing journey! As you float down the river with your tour guide leading the way, you will discover an environment rich with tropical scenery. The Rio Bueno river has many different moods, starting with some lazy river sections for you to sit back and relax, and followed by a range of fun filled rapids for you to quench your thirst for adventure.
