There is so much beauty on the Cape Peninsula and any visit to Cape Town should include a day exploring the Cape of Good Hope. We are Cape Town locals with a love for the natural environment and we incorporate this element on our tours, such as this tour and hike combo!
- We are locals who have grown up on the Cape Peninsula
- We are flexible on the day and can adjust the tour to your interests

Itinerary
1
Boulders Beach Penguin Colony
We visit the main Boulders Beach Penguin Colony viewing decks within the Table Mountain National Park which a few thousand African Penguins call home. A walk along Willis Walk to the main swimming beach is something you'll do and in summer a swim here is wonderful!
National Park gate fee: R160 per adult, R80 per child (under 12)
Duration: 60 minutes
2
Cape Point
We drive into the Cape of Good Hope section of the Table Mountain National Park en route to Cape Point where the lighthouses are located. We'll walk up to the view sites and then possibly down the Lighthouse Keepers' Trail to get a different angle if you're up for a walk.
If we don't walk to the lighthouses we can walk out over Diaz Beach and then we'll let you continue towards the Cape of Good Hope (45min) at the same time that we drive around to pick you up at the end point.
National Park gate fees: R320 per adult, R160 per child (under 12)
Duration: 60 minutes
3
Cape of Good Hope
Although we'll touch on the Cape of Good Hope 'proper' while in the Cape Point vicinity we'll be driving to a few different sites within the Cape of Good Hope section of the Table Mountain National Park. Here we will also do a 2.5 hour hike where we'll tell you all about our spectacular Fynbos vegetation while we'll look out for larger wildlife here such as Bontebok, Eland, Chacma Baboons and Ostriches among others.
Duration: 4 hours
4
Chapman's Peak Drive
This road is a classic! We'll usually cruise over Chapman's Peak Drive on the way back to Cape Town after a day on the Cape Peninsula where the views over Noordhoek Beach and Hout Bay are stunning!
