We will take you on a journey to enjoy the highlights of Kauai's South and West. Marvel at the power of nature as we share with you legends, history, culture and the geology of our islands. A day filled with many leisure stops, and opportunities to eat and shop local.

Departure is at 9:00 am. Be ready 10 Mts before. Walk across the street from the mall and wait by the Shave Ice sign. If you are driving, park by the ocean at the public parking. If you come from the ship you can walk or take the free shuttle to the Mall. We will drop you off at port at 3:30pm.
Return: End right where it started.

Kukui Grove
It is time to delve into Hawaii's culinary culture. We will visit Kauai Bakery for a mid-morning snack. You will get to try our legendary malasadas, AKA Portuguese donuts filled with various flavors. Other pastries and coffee will be available.

Spouting Horn
A drive through the famous Poipu Tree Tunnel will take us to the beautiful Spouting Horn, an extinct lava tube that became a water geyser. Marvel at the power of nature as the waves crash on the shore and water rushes through the tube. Your guide will share the legend of the site, sound effects and all.

Kauai Coffee Company
Enter the magical world of coffee at the largest plantation in the USA. Sample many roasts for free at the visitor center, take a stroll through the coffee tree garden, shop for the freshest beans.
Don’t like coffee? Enjoy an ice cream or cold beverage at the snack shop.

Waimea Canyon State Park
Waimea Canyon State Park is one of Kauai's gems, known as the mini Grand Canyon of the Pacific. Here we will make 3 stops, including the main lookout at 3400 feet elevation. You will see the Canyon from various angles and also the Forbidden island of Niihau from afar. Many stories will be shared and fabulous pictures taken.

Around 12:30 pm we will head to the beautiful grounds of the Waimea Plantation Cottages built in the early 1900's during the sugar plantation days. Overlooking at the blue Pacific Ocean and many tropical trees, we will enjoy delicious lunch at famous Chicken in a Barrel. Have a beer while you are at it! they have a beer wall with over 10 selections or a cocktail; after all you are not driving. We will take a leisure stroll through the property to visit Waimea Bay, one of our few black sand beaches, and Captain Cook's first landing place in Hawaii.

Salt Pond Beach Park
A beautiful beach park on Kauai's west coast, where Hawaiians have been raising salt for hundreds of years.
You will have time to take a stroll down the beach and wet your feet wet. Hawaiian monk seals are often spotted at this beach park.

• No refunds pass the 24 hours prior to the start of the tour.
• In consideration for on time guests and our after hours duties we are unable to wait for late arrivals.
• We can drop off guest at the cruise port at 3:30pm, and the airport.
