If you have ever wondered what it must have felt like emerging into the Colosseum as a gladiator then this is the tour for you. Walk through their gate with a fast track entranceand look up into the stands as they would have done all those years ago. Learn about the fascinating history of the monument, the largest ancient amphitheatre in the world, and the many events staged there, from animal hunts to mock naval battles.
In the neighboring Forum you will find yourself surrounded by the remains of the ancient Roman heyday which your guide will explain and bring back to life. Meet at the entrance gate of 'Colle Oppio Park', in front of the Oppio Caffè Bar. From the 'Colosseo metro station' reach the terrace above the station. Walk on 'Via Nicola Salvi' about 100m. Look for our coordinator holding a White Flag at the entrance gate of 'Colle Oppio Park'.

Colosseum
Your Ancient Rome tour begins as you skip the ticket lines at the Colosseum, and walk straight into the global icon of Rome. With special access to the arena floor, stride out through the gladiator’s gate and stand where the gladiators fought for their lives. Look
down into the arena dungeons and gaze skyward to see the immense Colosseum all around you.

Continue on to the Roman Forum, the social, political, and religious hub of Ancient Rome. Feel transported back in time as you admire the towering ruins that have survived millennia,
and listen as your guide enthralls you with stories of political treachery and drama. Discover the House of the Vestal Virgins and the Temple of Saturn, amongst many of the other impressive ruins.

Palatine Hill
Complete your tour as you climb Palatine Hill. Believed to be the founding place for Rome as a city, the hill became the richest neighborhood of Ancient Rome. Admire the remains of the opulent villas, and look out from the hill for one of the best views of Rome.
Reflect on the past and present of the Eternal City as your tour draws to a close.
