Amman Hotel – Dead Sea Beach – Dana 3 hours hiking – Petra Hotel

08:00 your driver picks you from your hotel lobby or any other location in Amman. 1 hour transfer to the Dead Sea.

Dead Sea Region
With 400 meters below sea level the Dead Sea is the lowest point on earth. The salty water of the lake lets you float, not swim, just try it! The mud on the shores is supposed to have healing properties for the skin. After some leisure time at the beach proceed 2 hours to Dana.

Dana Nature Reserve
Jordan's largest reserve Dana offers a diverse fauna and flora, pure air and consists of mountains and wadis. From Dana Village, inhabited since more than 400 years by Bedouins, a local guide will take you into the reserve to enjoy views of this great landscape and learn some interesting facts. Afterwards we hit the road for 1 hour to Petra.

Petra Visit – Wadi Rum Bubble Tent

Petra
With your local guide uncover the lower parts of Petra. Pass the narrow canyon, the so called Siq, with its colourful sandstone. At the end you will be rewarded with a view of the most beautiful monument: the Treasury. Continue via the Street of Facades to the Royal Tombs and Pharaoh's Castle. After around 2 hours the guide says farewell to you at the restaurant area. You have free time to explore Petra on your own. The young at heart for instance have the chance to climb the 800 stairs to the 45 meters high Monastery El Deir. Return to the main gate.

Wadi Rum
Afternoon 1.5 hours transfer to Wadi Rum desert. Chance to see the sunset in the desert. Dinner at the camp, overnight in a bubble tent where you can observe the sky in the night.

Wadi Rum Protected Area
Today explore Wadi Rum, Jordan’s most beautiful desert landscape. You see canyons, red sand dunes, Nabatean rock inscriptions and a natural rock bridge. If you like take 10 minutes to scramble Um Frouth bridge and enjoy the views of the surrounding scenery. A desert experience will not be complete with a short ride on a camel, the ships of the desert.

Then a 4 hours transfer takes you back to the busy capital Amman, drop-off at your hotel.
