Then we continue towards Piazza delle Erbe, Piazza dei Signori, Porta Borsari and the Arche Scaligere. We'll reach the Ponte di Pietra and, if you want, we can take the funicular and reach the San Pietro hill for a view from above of Verona. After a little lunch stop, we’ll go on to Lake Garda, where we’ll have a walk in the city centre of Lazise. Itinerary
1
Piazza Bra To visit Verona it is natural to start from the central Piazza Bra, which blends buildings from different eras and architectures into the sunny and bright light that crosses it. The Arena, Palazzo Barbieri and the Gran Guardia are the most famous and admired, but not least are the Fountain of the Alps, the Liston with its noble palaces, the Visconti walls, the statue of Vittorio Emanuele II and the Pentagona Tower.

Duration:  30 minutes

2
Arena di Verona The Arena of Verona is, together with Juliet's house, the monument for which the city is famous in Italy and around the world. It is the third largest Roman amphitheater after the Colosseum and the arena of Capua. It can hold about 20,000 people, which is believed to have been the entire population of Verona in the 1st century AD, the period to which the construction of the monument dates back.

Duration:  30 minutes

3
Casa di Giulietta The house is a severe 13th century medieval building, whose exposed brick facade is softened by elegant trefoil windows. At the front stands the famous balcony from which according to tradition Juliet looked out to talk to her Romeo.

Duration:  30 minutes

4
Arche Scaligere A monumental, majestic and scenographic tomb, which for over seven hundred years has welcomed the mortal remains of the ancient Lords of Verona. Here rest the Princes of the Della Scala family, with their elaborate equestrian sculptures that rise towards the sky as in an endless petrified tournament.

Duration:  30 minutes

5
Ponte Pietra Built in the first century BC to replace a pre-existing wooden bridge, Ponte Pietra is the oldest Roman monument in Verona and perhaps also the most impressive. It connected the original route of the Via Postumia with the hill in front of a ford, used since the dawn of time.

Duration:  30 minutes

6
Lazise After a short lunch break, you will head towards Lake Garda, where, taking a walk, you will admire the magical historic center of Lazise.
