Itinerary
1
Start your journey from the comfort of your hotel in Greater Porto, or take advantage of our pick-up service available from hotels in the stunning Douro Valley. Once on board of our private vehicle, you will have the opportunity to personalize your experience over the next 8 hours. Your driver, a Douro local, will not only provide safe transportation, but will also be able to offer in-depth knowledge of the region's history. Explore the best wines, enjoy the most spectacular viewpoints and discover small, lesser-known traditional Wine Estates (our driver can help you with this), where authenticity stands out without the tourist hustle and bustle. Design your own itinerary and we'll take care of the rest. Whether it's a wine-tasting journey, a search for breathtaking views or a visit to the Douro's fantastic Wine Estates, we're here to make your experience unique and memorable. Below are some of our suggestions:
2
Sabrosa One of the suggestions we make to our clients is a stop in the town of Sabrosa. This town is famous for being home to some of the region's best-known wine estates. We suggest, for example, visiting Quinta do Portal, Quinta Nova, Quinta do Crasto or the Adega dos Lavradores de Feitoria.

Duration:  60 minutes

3
Miradouro Torguiano De Sao Cristovao Do Douro Another of our suggestions is a stop at one of the Douro's most emblematic viewpoints, the Miradouro de São Cristóvão, distinguished by Miguel Torga for its magnificent landscape resulting from the work of man over the years, and which is now classified as a World Heritage Site by Unesco.

Duration:  10 minutes

4
We highly recommend a visit to the village of Pinhão, better known as the Heart of the Douro. We might even suggest that you take a short trip along the Douro River in a traditional Rabelo Boat, just like the ones once used to transport Port wine. Take the opportunity to contemplate the beautiful wine-growing landscape made up of vineyards and schist terraces.

Duration:  60 minutes

5
We also suggest a trip along National Road 222 (Pinhão - Régua or vice versa), considered one of the most emblematic stretches of road in the world, due to its panoramic view over the Douro River and its vineyards.
6
Miradouro de Sao Leonardo de Galafura Finally, as we consider the Douro's exlibris, we suggest a visit to the São Leonardo de Galafura viewpoint, one of the most fascinating places in the Douro and with a 360º view over the Douro.

Duration:  60 minutes
