Adventure Clues Late Morning: Latin Quarters Walk Move on to Fontainhas, the capital of Panjim’s Latin quarter. Wander through narrow lanes adorned with colorful Portuguese villas, balconies, and red-tiled roofs. Visit St. Sebastian’s Chapel, a 3-tiered whitewashed church from the 1800s. Explore the chic Gallery Gitanjali showcasing contemporary art and hosting cultural events.

Old Goa Afternoon: Old Goa Churches Travel to Old Goa, also known as Velha Goa, located beside the Mandovi River. Begin your exploration of the former capital of Portuguese India. Visit the Basilica of Bom Jesus, housing the remains of St. Francis Xavier, and the Church of St. Cajetan, inspired by St. Peter’s in Rome. Take in the grandeur of the Se Cathedral with its ornate chapels and bell tower.
