Jiron de La Union We continue exploring the jiron de la union It unites the most emblematic streets of the historic center of Lima since the founding of the city of Lima. Casa de Aliaga Continuing our adventure we will rediscover one of the architectural jewels that Lima treasures, built at the beginning of the viceroyalty period "La Casa Aliaga" . This mansion was built on the site donated by Francisco Pizarro to his friend in arms, Jerónimo de Aliaga; who would be the attorney general of Peru in 1550 for the creation of the Dean University of America founded in 1551. Finally, once our lunch is finished, we will continue visiting the Gold Museum . This Museum mainly has two collection rooms. The first is weapons from around the world, with approximately 20,000 pieces from various eras and countries; of which some of them belonged to great figures in history, standing out in particular two swords that belonged to the conqueror of Peru. Likewise, there are the weapons that belonged to Miguel Grau, Francisco Bolognesi, Simón Bolívar. On the other hand, the second room houses a collection of around 800 pieces and gold utensils belonging to the pre-Hinca culture.
