This opportunity to get a first-hand look at the daily life of sumo wrestlers will open your eyes to this fascinating martial sport and Japan’s traditional culture! You’ll have a guide meet you in front of the sumo stable who will brief you on the proper etiquette for watching a sumo training session. They’ll provide you with a handout in your language and will answer any questions you may have about sumo wrestling. At the end, you may get a chance to take a photo with some sumo wrestlers! Things to note: - two person minimum - if you need to leave the room for any reason, you will not be able to re-enter. If you must leave the room, please do so only between matches or when the floor is being swept, and in a quiet manner so as not to disturb the wrestlers. -You will be seated on the floor on a cushion. -Eating and drinking (including chewing gum) is not allowed. -Cell-phones must be set to silent mode.

Ryogoku Observe the sumo wrestlers as they stretch and wrestle in rounds during their fascinating training session. After the training session, take a photo with a wrestler or two! Due to the Grand Sumo Tournament in March: *There will be no training on March 1st - March 6th and March 24th - April 2nd. **Also, from March 7th - March 23rd, this product will only be offered in Osaka.
