When it´s all filled with people, it can be easy to miss all the iconic detail that makes the Basilica so famous. The Christmas Eve "Midnight" Mass is on December 24th at 9:15 pm - not midnight. Tickets are free but they are extremely hard to find, so booking in advance is essential.
