Itinerary
1
Ulun Danu Bratan Temple The Ulun Danu Beratan Temple is both a famous picturesque landmark and a significant temple complex located on the western side of the Beratan Lake in Bedugul, central Bali. The whole Bedugul area is actually a favorite cool upland weekend and holiday retreat for locals and island visitors alike from the southern and urban areas, as it is strategically located, connecting the island’s north and south.

Duration:  30 minutes

2
Buyan Lake Lake Buyan and Lake Tamblingan, separated by a rainforest-covered hill, approximately one kilometers, there is a pool that is connected directly to the lake Buyan through a narrow canal. The community pool is called Telaga Aya. The two lakes are known as the Twin Lakes. This sight is a great overview of the volcanic heart of Bali. Volcanoes have created and shaped this island, creating volcanic cones and lakes, and producing rich soils enabling a lush forest to grow.

Duration:  30 minutes

3
Banyumala Twin Waterfalls Banyumala Waterfall is one of the lesser known waterfalls in Bali. It is located north of Lake Buyan in northcentral Bali. Unlike many trails this is a completely natural trail and rarely hiked trail. Just past the waterfall is a water curtain of various trickles of water down a wall of lush rocks.

Duration:  60 minutes

4
Jatiluwih Green Land Jatiluwih rice terraces pretty much cover the region of the namesake upland village in West Bali, most famous for its landscapes that are both dramatic and truly exotic. The site is one of the island’s must-see natural panoramas on par with Mount Batur and the caldera of Kintamani. The cool highlands and the breathtaking scenery of this village at the foot of Mount Batukaru makes for wonderful photo opportunities, and serves as a soothing retreat away from the island’s crowded south.

Duration:  60 minutes

5
Taman Ayun Temple Taman Ayun Temple is a landmark in the village of Mengwi, Badung regency, located 17km northwest of Denpasar. This temple complex boasts magnificent traditional architectural features throughout its courtyards and enclosures as well as expansive garden landscapes comprised of lotus and fish ponds.
