Castelo de Obidos
Óbidos Castle is of Roman origin, probably based on a castro and due to the existence of a very old tower of Roman design (torre do facho).

It was in that year that Afonso II offered the town and the Castle, as a wedding gift to his wife. , D. Urraca. Also in 1282, D. Dinis and Queen Santa Isabel spent their honeymoon in this Castle.
