Temple of Medinat Habu

Drive to the west bank for about 40 minutes, enjoy the Nile scenery and views of the green farms and the countryside of Luxor all the way. Arrive at Madinat Habu, located at the southern end of the Theban Necropolis, where the first labor strike in history against their king Ramesses III was launched. This memorial temple of Ramesses III is one of the best-preserved temples in Egypt and surrounded by a massive mud-brick enclosure wall, which may have been fortified.
