Wonmisan With Azalea Hillside
At the foot of Wonmi-san, also known as Wonmi Mountain, an annual festive event celebrates the beauty of fields of azalea flowers. The Wonmisan Azalea Festival usually commences from the second week of April until the end of the month. During this spring fiesta, besides marveling at the stunning sight of azalea flowers, visitors can engage in various hands-on activities, such as traditional handcrafting, flower pancake cooking, and caricaturing. If you’re fortunate, you might even spot some gigantic cherry blossom trees that are still in full bloom.

Incheon's Chinatown came into being with the opening of Incheon Port in 1883 and Incheon's designation as an extraterritoriality of the Ching dynasty in the following year. In the past, the area held many stores trading goods imported from China, but currently most Chinese businesses in the area are restaurants. Today, the residents of Chinatown are mostly 2nd or 3rd generation Chinese, descendents of the early Chinese settlers. The area harbors many of the flavors of China, while the traditional culture of the first generation is preserved.

【Jajangmyeon Museum】
Jjajangmyeon Museum shows the history and culture of jjajangmyeon (black soy bean noodles) that originated from Chinatown in Incheon. The museum has six permanent exhibition halls and one special
exhibtition hall, showcasing the origin and history of jjajangmyeon and displaying diverse themed exhibitions every year.

Memorial Hall for Incheon Landing Operation
This memorial hall was built to commemorate the brave soldiers who fought for South Korea in Incheon, led by General MacArthur, in the year 1950.
The memorial hall celebrates the 100 year anniversary of the opening of the Incheon port to the foreigners in the year 1883. This Landing Operation was a huge successful for
both South Korea and the United Nations. Taking a tour in the memorial hall will give you a glimpse of Incheon, back in those years. The museum has videos showcasing the Battle of Incheon, its weapons, equipments, uniforms and the lifestyle of both North and South Korean army.
