Tomb of the Virgin Mary A church at the traditional place of the tomb of the virgin Mary. The church is cut into the rock and has a form of a cross, with a wide staircase leading down into the church and tomb. The structure is mostly from the Crusaders period.

Garden of Gethsemane Garden at the foot of the Mount of Olives in Jerusalem where, according to the four Gospels of the New Testament, Jesus underwent the agony in the garden and was arrested before his crucifixion.

The Church of Mary Magdalene is an Orthodox Christian church located on the Mount of Olives.Seven gilded onion domes, each topped by a tall Russian Orthodox cross, make the Church of St Mary Magdalene one of Jerusalem's most picturesque sights.

Lions' Gate The gate is near the Temple Mount's northern wall. It opens directly into the Muslim Quarter and is the gate closest to the first station of the cross.

Church of St. Anne in Jerusalem, near the Sheep Gate and Pools of Bethesda, where there is a grotto built on a site believed to be the birthplace of Mary.

Holy Monastery of the Praetorium It is place where Jesus was trialed by Pilatus. A set of caves under the building are presented to pilgrims as a local detention facility. The smallest cave in this group is said to be where Jesus was imprisoned.

According to traditions dating back to the 4th century, it contains two sites considered holy in Christianity: the site where Jesus was crucified, at a place known as Calvary or Golgotha, and Jesus's empty tomb, which is where he was buried and resurrected.
