Pelabuhan Sunda Kelapa unda Kelapa Harbor was the center of trade on Java Island a long time ago. Currently, this port is still operating for domestic shipping with a Pinisi (Traditional Wooden boat) lined up neatly on the port. This was the first spot the Portuguese came to Jakarta, and you will see the oldest boat made from Mahagony wood from 200 years ago.
