Palace of Versailles
9am. Meet your professional guide specialized in the XVIIth century and your driver. Transfer from your hotel by Mercedes vehicle to Versailles (15 km southwest of Paris)
During the trip your tour guide will give an introduction about the castle and the kings who occupied it. Quite easy to remember: King Louis XIV built it. Louis XV enjoyed it. Louis XVI paid for it.
Arriving at Versailles you will appreciate your booking and a priority entrance to the castle.
You will start the visit with the King's Apartments.
The crossing of the Hall of Mirrors (73 meters) is as impressive as in Louis' time.
You will see the magnificent Queen's Bedroom with its silks from Lyon.
Your guide will return to the revolutionary period and the tragic fate of the royal family. Only 1 member of the royal family survived.
Then you will love walking through the superb French gardens designed by the king and his gardener: Le Nôtre.
Close to the canal meet your driver and return transfer to Paris.
