Vinicunca Mountain
We will pick you up from your hotel at 5:00 am early in the morning. We start the travel through the South Valley of Cusco,the drive takes around 3 hours to reach the trailhead at 4500 ma.s.l (14,000 feet ) ,the village of Llactoc, and where we will have a breakfast.
After that we will start a walk uphill for about 1.5 hours approx. On the way we will appreciate the snowy mountains and amazing landscapes.Upon arrival to the Rainbow Mountain at 5,020 masl ( 16,466 feet) we will have free time to explore the area and take pictures from the highest part of the mountain. The colorful mountains are formed by sedimentary mineral layers were compacted one above the other many years ago that have been exposed by erosion and environmental conditions,
After enjoying the amazing view of the rainbow mountain, we will hike downhill to the beginning of our trekking point, that take 1.5 hour ,Where we will have lunch and then return to the city of Cusco arriving approx. at 5 pm .
