New Kalabsha Kalabsha is a large site located on an island on Lake Nasser just behind the New Aswan Dam. Unesco has moved to this island several things from the lake's water rise. First of all: The Kalbasha temple which dates from the Romian period, and dedicated to the god Mandolis. He is the 2nd largest saved on the Lake. The second saved is called Beit El-Ouali which dates from the Pharaonic era to the time of Ramses 2. It is carved into the rock, and it has engraved scenes painted until today (for 3300 years). There are 2 stele from the Pharaonic era. There are the remains of the temple of Gerf Husseinq which dates from the time of Ramses 2. There are near historical grafitti before 3600 years before Jesus which are saved too. Finally you will admire the Greek Kiosk of Quertassi. It is a frankly very site of all the times.
